We provide a wide range of accredited qualifications that are ideal for individuals looking for a career in the sport, education and leisure sectors. Courses range from entry level leadership courses through to our full time Level 3 BTEC qualification.

Level 3 BTEC Sport

This qualification is a 2 year programme for post 16 students. It is equivalent to up to 3 A Levels and is intended for those wanting to progress directly into employment as a coach. In addition, the breadth of content in this qualification allows learners to progress to a large variety of Higher Education and Degree level courses.

11/16 Sports/Leadership Qualifications

These nationally recognized entry level, level 1 and level 2 qualifications provide an ideal opportunity for aspiring sports coaches to gain relevant qualifications and experience whilst still in education.

Who are JB Sport and Education?

JB Sport and Education deliver a breadth of services across five distinct areas; schools, swimming, holidays, training and community.

We are extremely proud to say that we engage approximately 18,000 people in sport, education and training services every week. We have 40 highly qualified and experienced staff members who help us to deliver our services. Access to regular sport and physical activity has a hugely positive impact on the mental, social, and physical wellbeing of the participants. Our aim is to provide as many opportunities as possible to allow more people, to be more active, more often.

We recently got the call from OFSTED informing us that they would be performing a deep dive into our PE curriculum. JB Sports very forthcoming with offering support in our preparation. Within an hour, we had an in depth discussion with the curriculum lead at JB Sports, who was fantastic.  On the day itself, we felt confident as a team in answering questions thrown at us by OFSTED which was helped without question by the support of the JB Sports staff and their curriculum leaders.
