Children's Emergency First Aid

Teaching children valuable and potentially life saving skills

Allow your children to learn skills to ultimately save a life

Research shows that fewer than 1 in 10 people who have a cardiac arrest outside of hospital survive. The government therefore announced the news that all UK schools will be required to include emergency first aid/CPR on the curriculum.

Learning the basic skills of first aid and techniques such as CPR will give young people the confidence to know that they can step in to help someone else in need and in the most extreme cases, potentially save a life.

Our progressive scheme of work is suitable for KS1, through to leaving education at 18. Our programme was created and is delivered by a fully qualified first aid trainer and assessor, who will work with children to ensure they develop the basic knowledge necessary.

First Aid and the National Curriculum

It is compulsory for all school children in England to be taught First Aid

A survey by the British Red Cross revealed that 97% of young people believed training in first aid would improve their confidence, skills, and willingness to act in a crisis.

We wholeheartedly support the governments decision to add CPR, defibrillator awareness and other lifesaving first aid skills to the national curriculum and a re excited to be able to offer this service to Lincolnshire's schools.

An Enriching PE Curriculum

Used as either a one off experience day, or structured in to the long term planning for PE, enrichment services provide a great opportunity to enhance the breadth of experiences for  pupils.

Through our pupil first aid, health and wellbeing, intra school sport and our more niche sporting opportunities, we can provide your school with the perfect enrichment opportunity for your pupils. For more information, please contact us.

We recently got the call from OFSTED informing us that they would be performing a deep dive into our PE curriculum. JB Sports very forthcoming with offering support in our preparation. Within an hour, we had an in depth discussion with the curriculum lead at JB Sports, who was fantastic.  On the day itself, we felt confident as a team in answering questions thrown at us by OFSTED which was helped without question by the support of the JB Sports staff and their curriculum leaders.
