JB’s Extended Level 3 Diploma in Sport in partnership with VLUK, is a two year full time education course that will be structured and delivered to ensure that students receive a high quality, enjoyable and bespoke further education experience.
We feel it is important that students on this course receive relevant work experience that will aid their employability. Our students will therefore receive weekly work experience within our partner schools, where they will aid and assist with the delivery of primary PE. Students will also have the opportunity should they wish to assist with
the delivery of our football academy, swimming academy and holiday courses. As well as obtaining the BTEC qualification and practical work experience, students will also receive two relevant industry specific qualifications that will create a pathway to a career in the sporting industry.
The delivery of the course will be split between theory work, work experience off site and practical coaching delivery and training sessions on site. The course will be delivered at Horncastle Town Football Club, with the theory elements delivered from the clubroom and all on site practical elements delivered on the surrounding pitches and Astro Turf. There will also be numerous enrichment opportunities available for the students throughout the two year course delivery.
We have created a well rounded study program. Upon completion of the course, students will receive 180 UCAS points, as well as a wealth of practical experience and subject knowledge. They could then enroll on a University course and work towards a degree, or could begin a career within the sporting industry. JB’s Sports Coaching Ltd are committed to aiding the development of talented and passionate individuals, and will therefore look to recruit suitable students from the course to enroll in our apprenticeship scheme, where they will work towards full time employment.
Our course delivery will equip our students with the necessary skills and knowledge to gain a career within the ever growing sporting industry.

facilities, ask any questions and receive all necessary additional information regarding the course
