Established in 2009, JB Sport and Education is an award winning company offering a wide range of services across Lincolnshire.
Schools
Since 2009, JB have been a leading provider in Primary PE and School Sport. We deliver our services in 80 partner primary schools and pride ourselves on the quality of delivery, breadth of services and additional support that we provide to ensure schools and their pupils receive the best possible PE and School Sport experience.
Swimming
Our aim is to ensure all of our swimmers are able to learn at their own pace and develop their water confidence and swimming technique. We offer a range of diverse swimming options, from baby and toddler, 1-1, and small groups lessons, school swimming and our innovative Swim at School service.
Holidays
Our mission is to get more children, more active, more often. We therefore provide a wide range of holiday activities that keep children engaged and active during the school holiday periods. In addition to our primary school holiday camps, we also have swimming lessons, lifesaving courses and leadership training for secondary school pupils.
Training
Our experienced team of tutors, teachers and assessors ensure all learners receive the best possible education and training experience. Our learners receive all the support, guidance and resources they need to enable them to succeed in their respective qualification.
Community
We want as many people as possible to enjoy physical activity. We therefore deliver a number of community projects that enable more people to be more active, more often. JB community projects are available for individuals of all ages and abilities and provide the perfect opportunity for all members of the family to participate in sport in a pressure free and fun environment.
Who are JB Sport and Education?
JB Sport and Education deliver a breadth of services across five distinct areas; schools, swimming, holidays, training and community.
We are extremely proud to say that we engage approximately 18,000 people in sport, education and training services every week. We have 40 highly qualified and experienced staff members who help us to deliver our services. Access to regular sport and physical activity has a hugely positive impact on the mental, social, and physical wellbeing of the participants. Our aim is to provide as many opportunities as possible to allow more people, to be more active, more often.
We recently got the call from OFSTED informing us that they would be performing a deep dive into our PE curriculum. Once we made JB Sports aware of what was happening, they were very forthcoming with offering support and help in our preparation. Within an hour, we had an in depth discussion with the curriculum lead at JB Sports, who was fantastic. On the day itself, we felt confident as a team in answering questions thrown at us by OFSTED which was helped without question by the support of the JB Sports staff and their curriculum leaders.
