Staff Training 2017

September 5, 2017 2:50 pm

Our team of 16 Full time Primary P.E instructors undertook three days of staff training last week in preparation for the 2017/18 academic year. The first day involved a reflection session where the team discussed areas of success and areas to develop having reflected on 2016/17. As well as this the Steve and Ollie showed the targets to aim for within the coming year. The day ended with a friendly/competitive game of Rounders.

Day 2 and the team spent a day with a P.E consultant, Stuart Allison. The day was very thought provoking and worked on our targets of ensuring all of our lessons are differentiated suitably, the lessons involve vigerous activity and we use a wide range of questioning. The staff had a fantastic day and left feeling enthused about primary P.E

Day 3 we invited 50 children to attend a full day of free sport. our staff delivered a planned lesson to different age groups putting into practice the training from the previous two days.

It was a great three days and our team are ready to continue our fantastic work across the county.
